Should ontheinside occasionally profile fictional characters, in literature and/or film?

Beatrix Slaughter, our OTI personality last week, and the Bronx Gridlock defeated the Queens of Pain to win the Gotham Girls Roller Derby 2007 Championship. Gothamist reports on the bout here.
Congrats Beatrix!

On their official website, Mary’s Fish Camp is using the photos that Scott took of the restaurant for OTI. Link here. Thanks for the credit and link back.

The people behind the graffiti documentary Bomb It mention our article on Five Pointz as recommended by TooFly right here.
The city released this new ad spot to promote tourism in the city.
They also have a section called “Just Ask the Locals” where 5 celebs talk about some favorites places in the city. Obviously reminiscent of OTI but a bit more family/tourist oriented than we are. Regardless, it’s nice to see that the city (behind a large budget and research) values this type of content.
